Job title:      Assistant Site Manager

 

Reporting to:    Managing Director

 

Salary:               Work Experience (possibly leading to paid work)

 

Location:           Clayton le Moors

 

 

Purpose of the position

 

 

To be trained in the day to day operations of an established self-storage company and to assist the Managing Director in taking the company forward.

 

 

Key responsibilities & duties

 

To carry out market research and implement strategies with the aim to increase sales.

 

 

Duties of the role Time spent Competencies sought Must have or optional (can be trained)
Sales and Marketing 

Respond to enquiries – over the phone and face-to-face

 

70%  Previous experience in a sales driven environment an advantage. 

Communication skills including conflict resolution and friendly manner

Optional
 Miscellaneous admin duties and support business   20%  Good organisational skills and attention to detail 

Computer experience

Must have
 Data entry  10% Excel database skills Optional

 

 

Academic or trade qualifications

HND / Degree or Equivalent (Those working towards these qualifications will be considered)

 

 

Work experience and skills

Previous sales and management experience of storage space preferable.
