Introduction to Pact

Pact is a registered charity supporting people affected by imprisonment providing practical and emotional support to prisoners’ children and families, and to prisoners themselves.

Volunteer Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated volunteers aged 18 plus, to work as part of a team supporting offenders and their families.

We are looking for volunteers with a non-judgemental attitude that respect confidentiality and are willing to develop their knowledge of:

  • Supporting others
  • The Criminal Justice System
  • Organisations involving offenders in the community
  • Delivering interventions

What volunteer gets

Full training is provided and reasonable reimbursements will be paid for travel costs.

Hours of volunteering

4 hours a week minimum
