About the opportunity

The LIS children’s team provides a range of activities designed to encourage children and young people to use libraries and to get the most from their facilities. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting this programme by assisting with the preparation of materials, helping to set up and clear away equipment and supporting staff to deliver a range of activities including: homework help, chill out with the Wii, rhyme and story times, craft sessions and book groups.
