ARC English Club Co-ordinator
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a part time staff member within the ARC Project. This project, which was established in 2004 by the Methodist Church, supports newly arrived asylum seekers and refugees in the Blackburn with Darwen area by creating a safe and welcoming space for them to learn about life in the UK and rebuild their lives.
The West Pennine Moors Methodist Circuit is looking to employ an English Club Co-ordinator for 15 hours per week. The salary will be £7800 with a fixed term contract for 12 months, based at Wesley Hall Methodist Church in the centre of Blackburn.
The purpose of this post is to coordinate and supervise English Club volunteers in the delivery of the English classes that ARC currently provides to its users.
Closing date for applications is Monday 5th September 2016 at 12 noon and interviews will be held on Wednesday 14th September 2016.
For the application pack or for more details please contact June Howard-Norman, the Circuit Administrator, via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone on: 01254 661333.
