About the opportunity
Gateway Assessors carry out initial interviews with the clients and help the client to explore their problem and situation.
They will assess the risk/urgency of the clients is issues and their ability to cope with the problem themselves.
They will then help the client identify their next step, which may be making a phone call, filling in a form or writing a letter.
Alternatively they may refer them to other agencies or get help from our own team of
Finally the Gateway Assessor will write up the case on the CAB database.

Provide generalist advice to members of the general public.
What are they looking for?
We are looking for people who are confident with other people, have good listening skills and a good manner when talking to others.
They must have a good grasp of English and be able to write up their interviews on
our bespoke database.
Being non judgemental they must open minded and enjoy helping people.
Must be willing to undertake initial and ongoing training.
